With 15 successful shows under our belt we are anxiously getting ready for our 16th show. Every year the show gets bigger and better and this year is no exception. This year the show will be held August 6th through the 9th and and will kick off with a cruise to an Ice Cream shop starting at 6:00 pm on Thursday. The "Huskie Drive" will again return on Friday morning, and the convoy will leave the museum at 11:00 am and will stop for lunch along the way. Later in the day, the Wine Tasting event, which was new for last year, will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 at the Museum. This will again be followed by our Friday evening dinner which will be completely different this year. This will we will feature an Italian Dinner that is sure to be enjoyed by all so please make sure to make your reservations prior to the show. The annual auction will start right at 7:30 followed by a spectacular firework display at 9:30.
The 'big day' is on Saturday with a parade from the Museum to Downtown Cortland. The parade starts at 8:30 with trucks lining up in front of the Museum up to an hour earlier. Two blocks of Main Street are sectioned off from regular traffic and trucks are parked from one end to the other. As with years in the past, a Brockway Exhibit will be provided by the Cortland Historical starting at 9:00 followed by the awards at 3:00. A chicken BBQ dinner will be held at the Museum starting at 5:00 which includes Former Brockway Employee Recognition as well. As with the other dinner, reservations are required and can be made in advance via the contact form posted below.
The weekends events will wrap up with our Pancake Breakfast on Sunday morning right at the Museum from 7:30 to 11:00. This will be a pay at the door event. And then starting at 8:00 am on Sunday, the South Central NY Chapter of the ATCA will hold their first Annual show right at the Museum, which will be open to all make trucks.
