The show kicks off with a pre-show barbeque fundraiser which will be held on Friday night from 5 - 8 right at the Museum. After the barbeque, the auction will start right at 8:00. Please note that this is a new date and time this year. The auction will also be held at the Museum. The proceeds from the auction directly benefit the Museum. If you have anything Brockway related that you would contribute to the auction, please click here.
Following the auction we also have fireworks which is something new this year. Everyone enjoys watching fireworks in the summer so make sure you stick around to catch the show. The fireworks will start at 10:00.
Then on Saturday, something everyone looks forward to is the parade. At 8:00, the trucks will all line up at the Museum and proceed through downtown Cortland directly to Main Street. The parade starts at 8:30 and the streets will be lined with spectators, young and old alike, all waiting for the various trucks to roll buy. The parade usually takes a half hour or so and shortly after all the trucks will be parked within two blocks on Main Street. The show will run from 9:00 to 3:30 and the Cortland County Historical Society will also have a display. During the show be sure to check out the Husky Dog Exhibit (from 10 to 3), the Diamond Someday Bluegrass Band (from 11 to 2).
